Biography

Sarah Fielding J.D. is a 3L at Thomas Jefferson School of Law, graduated in May 2026, and is dedicated to building a career in family law. Her commitment to this field began early in her undergraduate years at Hawai‘i Pacific University, where she worked for two years as a paralegal in a private family law firm in Honolulu. During that time, she also assisted the legal team at IHS, helping unhoused individuals obtain conservatorships, guardians, and access to essential medical care, an experience that shaped her belief in the profound impact of family law.

Sarah continued to develop her skillset through two consecutive summers interning with Acevedo Family Law, beginning after her 1L year. Most recently, she served as the sole judicial intern for the Family Law Division of the Central San Diego Superior Court, working closely with every judge in the division from January to May 2025. She also worked for Thomas Jefferson School of Law as the legal assistant for both a Contracts course and a Professional Responsibility course.

Known for her compassionate, client-centered approach, Sarah is driven by a genuine commitment to ensuring that every client’s story is heard and that they receive fair, thoughtful representation. She believes family law is one of the most important legal disciplines because of its deep, lasting effect on individuals and children.

Originally from the Bay Area, Sarah has made San Diego her home and plans to continue serving the community after graduation. She is an active member of the Women’s Law Association. Outside of her legal pursuits, she enjoys spending time with family and friends and traveling whenever she gets the chance.
